<p>You might have done a fresh install and only have  upgrade licensing for windows 7.  Bad news, you have to reinstall XP then install Windows 7 from INSIDE your XP install.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t wand to upgrade the XP to Windows 7 you can choose custom options, but you must still have XP loaded on this system.</p>
<p>From Microsoft:</p>
<p>&#8220;If you want to format the hard drive, and you are using an upgrade version of Windows 7, you&#8217;ll need to start your computer using the Windows 7 upgrade DVD, click Custom (advanced), and then click Drive options (advanced).&#8221;</p>

<p>This is a website trying to make a secure connection with your computer, this is normally good for people that want higher security on their browser connection.  Sometimes this can be bad if some is trying to Phish your information, google &#8220;phishing&#8221; for more information on this.</p>
<p>First check the address, I highlighted this in the first picture with a red box.  If you trust the address you can proceed.</p>
<p>Click &#8220;I Understand the Risks&#8221;</p>
<p>Click &#8220;Add Exception&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>Click &#8220;Get Certificate&#8221;</p>
<p>Click &#8220;Confirm Security Exception&#8221;</p>
<p>You should now have a secure connection to the site, verify the address in the address bar is correct again, especially if you are using a bank or credit account.</p>
